Garden maintenance
Thoughtful garden care that supports long-term growth
Ongoing care for landscapes across the Gold Coast, with regular visits from experienced horticultural and permaculture specialists who understand what your garden needs throughout the seasons.
Who we look after
Ornamental, native, edible, or all three
Some of our clients have a whole landscape we designed and built, and want it kept the way it was meant to look. Others have a kitchen garden or a food forest and want it staying productive. Plenty have both, which is usually how we designed it in the first place.
We have specialists for each. Our horticulture team handles the ornamental and native side: pruning, plant health, weeding, mulching and soil. Our permaculture team handles the productive side: seasonal planting, crop rotation, soil biology, and keeping a food garden actually producing rather than just existing.
What we do
What the garden needs, season by season
Pruning, weeding, mulching and soil improvement across the whole landscape. Seasonal planting and crop rotation through the productive beds. Composting and organic soil management, so the soil gets better each year instead of needing more put into it.
We manage pests without toxic sprays, using companion planting, healthy soil and the beneficial insects your garden already has.
We check and repair irrigation while we're there, and keep an eye on water more broadly: mulching, moisture retention, and drought-hardy planting where it suits the garden.
What we don't do
Two things we don't offer
We don't offer lawn mowing as part of our maintenance service. We focus on the care, health and ongoing development of the garden itself.
We don't spray chemicals. Our approach focuses on building healthy soil, supporting plant health and using organic methods that work with the garden rather than against it.
If you're looking for a lawn-mowing service or a spray-based maintenance program, we're probably not the right fit. Our focus is ongoing horticultural care using organic methods.
How often
On a regular schedule or as needed
Most clients are on a regular schedule: weekly, fortnightly, monthly or seasonal, depending on how much garden there is and how productive it is. Productive gardens generally need more attention than ornamental ones.
One-off visits are available too, for a tidy-up or a specific job.
Worth knowing: the maintenance schedule books out, so a standing spot is easier to hold than a one-off at short notice.

Worth doing sooner rather than later. The maintenance schedule books out, and a standing spot is easier to hold than a one-off at short notice.
